For anyone seriously starting out in the window cleaning industry, we generally recommend beginning with a basic cold water "delivery only" van mounted water fed pole system.

This setup includes a securely mounted pure water storage tank, connected to a 12V water pump and pump controller, which feeds a hose reel and ultimately your water fed pole. Instead of generating pure water yourself using an onboard RO/DI system, you simply fill the tank at a pure water filling station.

The size of vehicle required will depend on the capacity of the water storage tank you choose. As a general guide, we recommend the following:

350L/400L: Minimum 600KG payload e.g. Citroen Berlingo, Renault Kangoo, Peugeot Partner, Ford Transit Connect, Vauxhall Combo, VW Caddy or Mercedes Citan.

500L: Minimum 700KG payload e.g. Citroen Dispatch, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes Vito, VW Transporter or Peugeot Expert.

650L/800L: Minimum 1000KG payload e.g. Citroen Dispatch, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes Vito, VW Transporter or Peugeot Expert.

“How many houses can I clean with a full tank?” is a common question but one that doesn’t have a one size fits all answer.

The number of jobs you can complete depends on several factors, including your chosen flow rate, your working speed, and the size of the properties you're cleaning. However, based on an average flow rate and an average paced operator, the following guidelines can be used:

• 350L/400L: approximately 18–20 three-bedroom semi-detached homes.
• 500L: approximately 23–25 three-bedroom semi-detached homes.
• 650L/800L: approximately 28–30 three-bedroom semi-detached homes.

Installation typically takes around 6 to 8 hours, allowing us to fit the system safely and professionally

Telford and the surrounding Shropshire area offer plenty of beautiful places to explore, including Ironbridge and Shrewsbury, so we often recommend making a day of it. Simply drop your van off in the morning and collect it later the same day.
